While helping launch the solar division of GAF, Matt met Golden Group Roofing Founders Greta Bajrami and Freddy Campoverde—who were planning to build a Golden Group division that excelled in integrating rooftop and rooftop solar PV systems. All around, it was the right opportunity at the right time. Since then, Matt has propelled Golden Group Solar’s growth by leveraging new techniques and products, delivering premier craftsmanship, and providing exceptional customer service.

Matt’s number one goal is to satisfy customers. He enjoys training the solar sales and installation team in all technical aspects of the work while also preparing them to educate customers and be responsive to their questions throughout the process. While managing the business strategy and operations, Matt remains personally involved with customers from the initial site survey and system design through permitting, approval, and system launch.

A graduate of Miami University in Ohio, Matt earned a degree in economics and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. He holds several certificates in renewable energy, including NABCEP’s prestigious PV Installation Professional. Having raised two sons in Hopkinton, MA, Matt and his wife, Patty, live in Providence, RI.
